In case you were wondering, the 30th of September is comming right up and is a tender time in our memories--it being one year since the last time we saw Avery. It will always be a day of remembrance, but the day we want to choose to celebrate her will be her birthday, March 9. It will be our tradition to have a very special Family Day every year on that day. Avery is still an active part of our family even if only in spirit and memory. Everyday we still talk about her and think about her, and Roxanne waves hello to Avery's pictures in her bedroom every moring when she gets up. We have special confirmation that Avery will continue to play an important and sacred role in our family as a gaurdian for Roxanne and will always be with us. We Love You Averydoll!
My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends--
It gives a lovely light!

Emily and Jeremy,
I just came across this on your blog. I had no idea. I am so sorry for your loss. I am writing this with tears streaming down my face. I can't imagine the the pain you both have gone through. My heart aches for you and your daughter. Have comfort to know that she will ALWAYS be with you. Sarah and I love you guts.

Jeremy,
I had no idea of your loss. I am so sorry. Your family will be in my prayers.
You have an angel looking down on all of you.
Erin
I will alway remember her face. She had an expression for every occassion. She embodied the wonder of a child.
